This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 11, 2008:
My mom inspires me to live past my aches and pains. My mom lives with a painful autoimmune disease, and yet she never complains about the amount of pain that she is in.

It has always been a fear of mine that I will contract some painful chronic disease. I admire anyone who lives with any such condition and maintains a good attitude. If I were to be afflicted, I'm afraid I would let my pain poison the people around me as well. Now your mother has inspired me, too!
