What standards do you refuse to compromise?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 28, 2008:
Honesty, whenever possible and expedient. Unless it's absolutely necessary (like surprises or something like that) I tell the truth.
Of course, I've become a master of the misleading truthful statement, as a deflection for impertinent questions or those I'd just rather not answer, but I maintain I can't be held responsible for other people's assumptions, even if I do nothing to stop it. People should learn not to do that... :)
